Dry Needle

Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN)

Trigger point dry needling also involves using thin needles to penetrate the skin, however it is a different technique than acupuncture. While acupuncture works on energy meridians, trigger point dry needling works at muscle origin and insertion points, known as trigger points. It is an extremely effective technique that uses a very fine needles to “deactivate” or “shut down” painful or knotted areas in your muscles. The method helps to relax tight muscles and irritated nerves, allowing improved blood flow and better range of motion.
